Desktop shortcuts for G Suite applications

For desktop application users like Microsoft Office, you can add shortcuts to for instance Excel or Outlook on your Computer Desktop.

Google Chrome Browser has the ability to create shortcuts to any web page easily from the chrome://apps/ menu. For example, use it to quickly create a shortcut to Gmail, Calendar or Google Docs and you can place a shortcut on your Desktop, Start Menu or even pin Gmail permanently to your Taskbar.
